Friends of the Torrance Library
The Friends of the Torrance Library is a non-profit group that supports the Torrance Public Library. From our book and media sales, we help support the library's efforts to promote literacy and education in the community. Our community book sales help pay for some of the library programs and services for the Torrance community.
All our gently used books, CDs, and DVDs are from a wide selection of genres: fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, art, politics, self-help, cook books and more. We accept donations of books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, and games. Please see the donations page.
We have three large book sales each year. Also, there are books for sale in the lobby of the Katy Geissert Civic Center Library.
Our lobby sales are refreshed each day with holiday and special event books; visit us and browse the shelves for something special.
Join us as a member, or a volunteer, and make a donation. View the book sale flyer. See you at our next book sale.
