Friends of the Torrance Library
The Friends of the Torrance Library is a non-profit group that supports the Torrance Public Library. Through our book and media sales, we help support the library's efforts to promote literacy and education in the community. Our community book sales help pay for some of the library programs and services for the Torrance community.
Our books, CDs, and DVDs, are gently used and are from a wide selection of genres; fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, art, politics, self-help, cook books and more. We accept donations of books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, and games. Please see the donations page.
We have large book sales three times a year and an excellent selection of books for sale in the lobby of the Katy Geissert Civic Center Library book sale shelves. Our lobby sale books are constantly changing, so visit us and browse our shelves.
We hope you will join us as a member or a volunteer, make a donation, and come to our book sales.
