WHY DOES A LIBRARY NEED FRIENDS?
A library is only as great as the community that supports it.
The Torrance Library is a cultural, educational and recreational asset to the community. Tax revenues provide only the basics.
Friends ensure that our library has the resources it needs by raising funds to supplement programs and services.
We hope you will join us by becoming a member, volunteering, making a donation, and coming to our book sales.
Our Fall Book Sale was successful and we thank everyone who participated. The proceeds will help our Torrance libraries.
